Vitae London is a UK-based watch company with a somewhat different proposition. Each watch they sell provides a South African child with the school uniforms, bag and footwear required to attend school for a year. This week, it unveiled a new collection of watches that will be offered alongside its original Classic watch line. The Vitae London Walmer collection aims for a more contemporary look, pairing “minimalist design with stylish modernity.”
The Walmer range is named after a township on Port Elizabeth, South Africa that we support. Featuring a stainless steel mesh strap, equipped with scratch resistant sapphire glass, our watches can be sported by everyone. From the sleek city worker to the trend-setting hipster, our contemporary yet uniquely understated and eye-catching watches complement every individual.
The Vitae London Walmer features a clean and very traditional design. The white dial is paired with hands and indices that match the gold, silver or rose-gold case colours. The date window remains at the 3’oclock mark. Gone are the Classic collection’s minute markers for a more modern interpretation. The 40 millimetre case size should allow it to fit comfortably without looking too large on many a wrist.
The Walmer is completed with a stainless steel mesh strap that also matches the colour of the case.
