Huawei unveiled two new Huawei Watch models geared at women at CES 2016. While the hardware specifications remained unchanged, the the Huawei Watch Jewel and Huawei Watch Elegant sport decorative elements like Swarovski Zirconia crystals or a “more understated” knurled pattern as well as narrower straps and “exclusive feminine” watch faces. Judging by Huawei’s Chinese website, it appears that it is now planning to release four new models rather than two.
Rather than completely new models though, they appear to be new variants of the smartwatches introduced at CES 2016. The first appears to be a new version of the Huawei Watch Jewel. As seen at CES 2016, it came with a blue strap and clear Swarovski crystals. The new one instead comes with a ruby red strap with matching red crystals around the dial. The second model appears to be a Huawei Watch Elegant model with a brown strap instead of a white one. Both new models come with the same rose gold-plated finish as the original models.

Huawei’s U.S. website does not currently show the new variants. It is possible that they may only launch in China.
Huawei’s Chinese website suggests that the Huawei Watch Jewel and Elegant will go on sale on March 29th. It’s not clear at this point if they will also launch in North America on that date. When they do, the former is expected to sell for US$599 (about CA$800) while the latter will go for US$499 (about CA$660).
