Samsung today expanded international availability of both its Samsung Gear S2 smartwatches and Gear VR headset. Both the Samsung Gear S2 and Gear S2 classic versions are now available in India alongside the new consumer edition of the Gear VR.
Much as the company did a few days before IFA 2015 when it first announced its first round-faced smartwatch, Samsung India touted the Gear S2’s rotating bezel that can be used to control a range of functions. It also announced that new watch faces with Indian themes will be available for download.

The Samsung Gear S2 smartwatches will be available through brick-and-mortar retail channels as well as online exclusively though Flipkart. The Gear S2 sells for INR 24,300 (about US$360 or CA$510) and the Gear S2 classic for INR 25,800 (about US$380 or CA$545). The Gear VR headset will sell for INR 8,200 (about US$120 or CA$175) through the same channels.
