Unlike past years, Google I/O 2016 will not take place in San Francisco. Celebrating its tenth anniversary, it will return to the Shoreline Amphitheatre in Mountain View, California, where the first Google I/O event took place.
An agenda for the three-day developer conference has not been announced yet. It will likely touch on everything Google. In the past, the company used the event to launch new versions of Android and Android Wear, new Nexus hardware, new or updated services and more.
If you cannot attend in person, you will still be able to live stream most if not all of the event. I/O Extended events will also give you a chance to catch presentations in your local community.
The hashtag for this year’s event will be #io16.
