For example, do you remember how Samsung said it was inspired by nature when it designed the Galaxy S III? South Korea’s Alford Beomjun Sohn was inspired by a simple water drop when he came up with the CHRONODROP smartwatch.

I took a motif from a quote by Confucius; “Time flows away like water in the river” I considered that if great flow of time is the water in the river, every moment would be a tiny single drop of water.

The water drop motif shows up again in the design of the strap. The CHRONODROP features rather unique tear-shaped strap holes and strap lock mechanism. The holes represent “every priceless moment of our life.”

There are no technical details provided for the CHRONODROP. From the renders, it appears to run a proprietary operating system capable of managing two displays. It also appears to adopt some characteristics of traditional watches with a mechanical movement powering the tear-shaped minutes hand.
