In preparation for Baselworld 2016, Bremont has unveiled an updated version of the Bremont ALT1-ZT it unveiled last year. The Bremont ALT1-ZT/51 GMT Chronograph Watch borrows a number of visual and design cues from the limited edition P-51 LE that Bremont offered a few years back.
“For me, the ALT1-ZT is arguably the most handsome and practical GMT chronograph we have manufactured to date. It is beautifully simple, easy to read and a watch you would happily see strapped to your wrist in 20 years’ time. One of our most iconic limited editions to date is the sought-after Bremont P-51. The heritage look and feel of this timepiece inspired many collectors internationally and it seemed fitting to pay tribute to it through the new ALT1-ZT/51,” explained Bremont co-founder, Nick English.
The hands and markers of the Bremont ALT1-ZT/51 GMT Chronograph have taken on the beige hues of the P-51 LE but the layout remains unchanged from the ALT1-ZT. The running seconds hand has picked up a dark grey finish. The sub-dials at 12 and 6 o’clock mark now stand out more from the black dial thanks to a new grey metal finish. There is also a new brown calf-skin aged leather strap. The image below shows the ALT1-ZT on the left and the ALT1-ZT/51 on the right:
Under the dial, the ALT1-ZT/51 GMT Chronograph is unchanged from last year’s model.
