Bulova at Baselworld 2016 introduced a new watch collection. As exciting as new collections can be, this one is even more so as the the new Bulova CURV is the world’s first to sport a curved chronograph movement. The collection will consist of 12 different models ranging from casual to more formal.
While Bulova has yet to reveal all the details, we know that there will be both stainless steel and titanium models. The curved movement is nestled inside a curved case. While not the most remarkable of movements, it will nonethless be exposed thanks to a see-through dial and exhibition case back. The three sub-dials that dominate the lower three-quarters of the dial are complemented by bronze-coloured indexes and skeleton hands.
The Bulova CURV is the latest collection to witness the return of the brand’s tuning fork symbol. It shows up not only on the dial as the 12 o’clock marker but also the crown and the battery face which is visible through the back.
The Bulova CURV collection will start at US$799 for stainless steel models and US$899 for titanium ones when it launches this fall.
