Google announced the first major upgrade to its Android Wear wearables operating system at Google I/O 2016. Android Wear 2.0 will launch sometime this fall. Missing from the announcement was a list of what smartwatches would be upgraded. The Developer Preview effectively confirmed that both the Huawei Watch and LG Watch Urbane 2nd Edition would be upgraded given that they are the two models currently supported. Tag Heuer yesterday confirmed via Twitter that it would offer an Android Wear 2.0 upgrade for its Tag Heuer Connected Watch.
@shanelord Certainly. Any update of the Android Wear system will be also available on the TAG Heuer Connected Watch. Thanks & take care!

Android Wear 2.0 promises to give smartwatches more autonomy, user interface improvements including improved notifications and watch face picker, improved support for watch face complications and more.
Given that Google has yet to provide a specific release date for Android Wear 2.0, it’s no surprise that Tag Heuer also did not provide a time frame as to when it will begin pushing it out to its customers.
