First launched in 2011, the Google Art Project is a partnership between Google and a number of international art museums that lets you see high-resolution images of artworks from the museums’ galleries. More than 32,000 artworks from 46 museums can now be viewed online. Google has now taken some of these pieces of art and brought them to Android Wear with the Google Street Art watch face app.
As the name suggests, the selected works come from its street art collection. Artwork includes everything from mural art to pieces created specifically for water towers as well as locations across the world. The app offers three watch face styles: Analog, digital and minimal.
