More images of the next Motorola smartwatch continue to pop up ahead of its expected announcement. Following a couple of pictures showing the new Moto 360 on the wrist of presumed Motorola employees in the Chicago area (where the company’s headquarters are located), additional pictures have appeared of the smartwatch in the wild.
In the first picture, the new Moto 360 is seen on the wrist of none other than Lenovo senior vice president Chen Xudong. It just so happens that Lenovo now owns Motorola.
The second picture takes us back to Chicago and again shows us a watch very reminiscent of the first generation Moto 360 except for the new lugs and the repositioned crown at the 2 o’clock position.
In both cases, the Moto 360 comes with a cognac leather band. Based on the model list recently revealed by an online retailer, this is likely the larger 46.5mm model. Both pictures also show the watch with an inactive display, making it impossible to see if these also sport the black bar at the bottom of the display.
The original Moto 360 first went on sale in early September last year. With this anniversary coming up and IFA 2015 just around the corner, an official Motorola announcement is very likely to take place soon.
