Samsung unveiled its latest smartwatch, the Samsung Gear S2, just before IFA 2015 kicked off. The latest Gear smartwatch is a significant departure from previous models as it is the first round-faced smartwatch from the South Korean manufacturer and the first to incorporate a rotating bezel.
As the launch of the Samsung Gear S2 gets closer (as early as October 2nd in markets such as the U.S. and shortly after for many more), Samsung has posted a number of tutorial videos to prepare consumers for their new smartwatch.
The five videos cover a number of topics. The first explains how to use the touchscreen and navigate using the home and back buttons. The second shows you how to connect your Gear S2 to a compatible Samsung smartphone such as the company’s own Galaxy S6 or, for the first time, many non-Samsung Android smartphones. The third shows you how to transfer media files to your Gear S2 while the fourth provides some suggestions on how to maximize battery life. The last covers the smartwatch’s call and message features.
