Pebble announced today that it has begun to ship the Pebble Time Steel to Kickstarter backers. It had originally hoped to begin shipments in the last week of July but it appears that a few last minute gremlins delayed that plan by about a week. Based on the company’s latest estimates, it expects that it could take until the end of September to provide all backers with their order shipment tracking numbers.
The ball is rolling, no stopping it now: Pebble Time Steel is shipping. Our distribution centers are sending out tracking numbers as we speak. This Time, we mean business 🙂
Pebble already announced that, like with Pebble Time shipments, it will use the following shippers to fulfill orders:
- US Pebble Time rewards will ship via USPS.
- Standard non-US shipments will ship to destination countries via Singpost.
- Expedited non-US shipments will travel via the courier listed in your Reward Portal.
Pebble also announced that it has begun to take reservations for the Pebble Time Steel on its website for anyone who missed out on getting one during the Kickstarter campaign. It is available for US$249.99 (about CA$330) with a leather watch band and US$299.98 (about CA$395) with both a stainless steel band and a leather one.
