MWC 2015 will take place over a busy three days from March 2nd to 5th and longer if you include the press announcements leading up to the main event itself. If you’ve still looking for something to do, consider catching the Women in Mobile networking party on March 3rd. It promises to be “one of the most special nights of the Mobile World Congress week.”
There are amazing women all around the world founding mobile startups or leading the way in mobile marketing, advertising, design, technology, and so on. This event is the perfect opportunity to learn from some of these leaders and listen to their mobile success stories. Our speaker lineup is 100% female but our male colleagues are more than welcome to attend and contribute.
The keynote will be delivered by Katharina Klausberger, the co-founder of Shpock, a “flea market app for beautiful things in your neighbourhood” used in Germany, Austria and the UK. Among the other speakers at the event are Ruth Barnett, VP of Global Communications at SwiftKey and Elisabeth Barrie, Head of Mobile at Schibsted Classified Media.
Best of all, the Women In Mobile event is free. It will take place at MauMau, a lounge bar located in Barcelona’s city center.
