The Moto 360 smartwatch has been available in Canada since October 31. It has gradually become available more widely and most recently popped up on Google Play Canada. Unfortunately, Canadians have only been able to choose from two options: With a black or grey leather strap. That will change in March as Motorola introduces three new styles to Canada.
All three new options come with metal bracelets first formally introduced in November 2014. Best of all, Motorola is also bringing a model with a slimmer strap. The three variants are:
- 23mm dark metal strap – available at TELUS, Best Buy and Future Shop
- 23mm light metal strap – available at Best Buy and Future Shop
- 18mm champagne metal strap – available at TELUS
As one would expect, these new metal options will sell at a premium over the leather ones. While a price was not announced for the slim model, the 23mm options will sell for CA$329.
There is no word yet on whether we will see other strap options including the new DODO premium leather ones anytime soon.
