LG this week announced that its new LG Watch Urbane would launch on the Google Store by the end of the month. AT&T is also bringing the watch to its customers. It now appears that it won’t be the only U.S. carrier to do so as AndroidSpin reports that Verizon Wireless will do so as well.
Better yet, the report comes with a price for LG’s first “its first all-metal luxury Android Wear” smartwatch. It will reportedly sell for US$349.99 (about CA$425).
LG Watch Urbane specifications:
- Processor: 1.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 400

Verizon Wireless will presumably launch the LG Watch Urbane around the same time as it hits the Google Store in the U.S. as well as Canada and 11 other countries.
The LG Watch Urbane will also be the first watch to benefit from the upcoming Android Wear update which includes Wi-Fi support. This new feature will allow you to pair it to your smartphone even when out of Bluetooth range, significantly improving its autonomy (something that not all Android Wear watches will be able to do).
