Rumours that the new Moto 360 smartwatch would come in two sizes appear to have been validated with a new photo. Obtained by which has been reliable in the past, the photo shows what is presumably the new 360S model next to the original Moto 360 smartwatch.
Many found the original Moto 360 bulky and too large for their wrist. The new Moto 360S, which will probably come with dial measuring between 38 and 40 millimeters, should find many fans among those people.
Missing the from the picture is the new Moto 360L. It appears instead to make an appearance in yet another picture (although it could also be the 360S on a smaller wrist). Once again, we see the new case design with the protruding lugs where the strap attaches and the repositioned crown now at the 2 o’clock mark. The black bar at the bottom of the display is once more clearly seen.
It will reportedly be about the same size as the original Moto 360 but pack a much larger 375mAh battery. In contrast, the Moto 360S is expected to come with a smaller 220mAh battery.
Motorola could announce the new Moto 360 as the Moto 360S and Moto 360L as early as next week at IFA 2015.
