Polish electronics company Krüger&Matz is the latest to jump into the smartwatch business. With wearables quickly becoming the next hot market, such a move from a company that already offers everything from smartphones and headphones to televisions and stereo systems is not a huge surprise.
Like most smartwatches, the Krüger&Matz Classic offers a number of watch faces (one digital and three analog ones), the ability to make and receive calls thanks to its built-in microphone and speaker (but still requiring a smartphone), receive SMS and remote control functionality for your music player and camera. It also comes with a pedometer and a locator to quickly locate it or your smartphone (as long as you have the other on you of course). It is compatible with both Android 4.3+ and iOS 7+.
Powered by a MediaTek Aster MT2502 SoC and its own custom Linux operating system, the Krüger&Matz Classic promises battery life of 2 days under normal use and 4 to 5 days in standby.
