When recent rumours surfaced suggesting that the launch of the Huawei Watch had been delayed to at least September, we surmised that this applied only to China where the company was dealing with “incompatibility issues with Android Wear.” It also appears that certifications are taking some time and that this launch window may not be just for China. For example, the Huawei Watch just got its FCC certification.
While a number of documents refer to the device by its FCC ID (QISMERCURY) or hardware version (EB1MERCURYM), the FCC e-label and other test documents identify it as the Huawei Watch, eliminating any possible doubt as to what it could be.
As Huawei already revealed specifications, there are few surprises in the documents but one. While we knew about Bluetooth 4.1, the FCC documents also reveal that the Huawei Watch will come with 802.11 b/g/n Wi-Fi connectivity, something still not listed on official spec sheets.
Huawei Watch specifications:

Huawei has requested that a number of documents, including photos and the user manual, be withheld until September 30, 2015. This suggests that an announcement could be made around that time.
