H. Moser & Cie, the company behind the original smart watch, this week announced the Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Concept to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the Endeavour Perpetual Calendar. The original was a clean and minimalist affair design. With its latest timepiece, H. Moser & Cie. pushed “the boundaries of creativity further” by simplifying things even more.
The Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Concept does away with most of a dial’s normal elements. It only retains hands including a small arrow-shaped centre hand to indicate the month, the date window and the company’s signature fumé dial with a sunburst pattern. Absent are any sub-dials, markers, any indicators except for a power reserve and text of any kind. Even the company’s logo has been deliberately left out.
“We were often asked if it would be possible to make an even simpler perpetual calendar. The Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Concept meets that demand,” explains Edouard Meylan, CEO of H. Moser & Cie.

While the H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Concept may not be your watch of choice for the day of an important meeting, it is certainly suitable for an occasion where a few minutes here or there do not matter as much.
The H. Moser & Cie. Endeavour Perpetual Calendar Concept will be offered in a limited edition of only 10 timepieces. Assuming that they have not all been spoken for already, one can be yours for about US$60,000 (about CA$84,000).
