Android Wear already offers more than 1,500 different watch faces to choose from according to Google’s own count. That’s almost enough to have a different watch face for three years. But in case you’ve been looking for something new, Google today unveiled 17 new watch faces.
It’s quite an assortment too. You have everything from Angry Birds and Hello Kitty to offerings from Bang & Olufsen which is better known for its high-end speakers and sound systems and even one from Swedish watchmaker Triwa (which inspired one of our favourite smartwatch concepts). And if the Police Terminator Genisys watch is not your thing, you can try the Terminator Genisys Watch Face that will display a crumbling iconic Terminator skull leaving only the iconic red eye to glare at you at night.
Most of the new watch faces are free but a few will set you back US$0.99 (CA$1.20).
