The Apple Watch will not launch until sometime in April. With three collections to be offered and a number of choices in each, there will be quite a few possible permutations to choose from. In the meantime, MixYourWatch.com now lets you mix and match different options so that you know exactly what combination you want for launch day.
The site lets you mix with all the different options that Apple will offer. Cases will come in a choice of three materials, each offering two colours. On the strap side, you can choose from five fluoroelastomer (also known as plastic) options, eight leather options and three steel ones.
MixYourWatch.com is a third party site that has no affiliation with Apple. It does not list any prices so you won’t know how much that perfect Apple Watch will set you back. It also allows all the different options to be configured interchangeably but it remains to be seen if Apple will indeed allow all such pairings. For example, will you be allowed to pair a lime green fluoroelastomer strap with an 18K rose gold case?
Apple is expected to announce specific availability and pricing details at a press event scheduled for March 9 (Lineups at stores will presumably start soon after).
