Watches may date back to the 16th century but watch designers still come up with innovative designs and ideas. Case in point in the Angle watch concept by Rayyan Toh. At first glance, it appears to be yet another watch with minimalist aesthetics. But it sports two rather unique design elements.
As the name implies, the Angle comes with an watch face that is tilted towards its wearer to more effortlessly tell the time. The angled face makes it not only easier to tell the time but also more discreet as the wrist motion can be more discreet.
Angle also solves the problem that many watches are designed with right-handed people in mind. The watch face rotates, making it easy to move the crown to the left for left-handed people.
The Angle concept watch could easily come in a range of colours. Toh shows of concepts with different coloured cases and bands using different materials and colours.
Best of all, there is no reason that such a design could not be incorporated into smartwatches.
