Whether the Moto 360 lived up to its expectations is still a matter for debate. One thing is less debatable though; it was probably the first smartwatch to really fire up people’s interest in this exciting new technology thanks to its impressive looks. It quickly sold out on its U.S. debut. Motorola has now released its first ad for it, giving us a quick look at the design process that went into it.

Android Wear’s contribution to making the Moto 360 more than a simple watch appears only briefly in the latter part of the ad.
Meanwhile, we are still waiting to see the Moto 360 land in Canada. It will make its debut here “later this fall.”
