We first learned about the LG-LS990 thanks to a UAProf file on Sprint Wireless’ website almost two weeks ago. Based on the specifications revealed, it appears to be none other than the upcoming LG G3. A second UAProf file with software version “LS990ZV1” for the same device has now popped up on the Sprint website with a few changes in tow. Here is what the latest file shows with changes in bold:
- Processor: Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974A)
- Operating system: Google Android 4.4.2 KitKiat
- Cellular connectivity: LTE/EVDO
- Other connectivity: Wi-Fi, DLNA
- Display: WQHD (2560×1440)
- RAM: 2GB (was 3GB)
- Internal storage: 32GB
- External storage: MicroSD cards up to 64GB
- Rear-facing camera: 16MP (was 13MP)
- Front-facing camera: 2.4MP (was 2.1MP)
- Connectors: 3.5mm audio jack
The file still shows the LG-LS990 coming with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 (MSM8974A) processor. While it is possible that LG will indeed opt for the older but still quite capable processor, it is used it during development and that it will bump it up to a Snapdragon 801 or Snapdragon 805 before final specifications are locked down.
As with the older file, the apps that the LG G3 could come preloaded with are listed once more.
As we saw with the last file, there is nothing in this UAProf that specifically ties the LG-LS990 to the LG G3. Even with the changes, the specifications still suggest a flagship device such as the upcoming LG G3.
LG is expected to unveil the LG G3 in late June with a launch to follow in early July.
