Following LG’s announcement that it would unveil the LG G Pro 2 sometime in February, leaked pictures have surfaced that give us our first possible look at the successor to the LG Optimus G Pro.
One image appears to confirm that the LG G Pro 2 will follow in the footsteps of the LG G2 and LG G Flex by having its power button and volume rocker on the back rather than on the side as is more typically done. It also appears to have a textured back.
There are no other details to go with the image. Based on past rumours, we can expect the LG G Pro 2 to come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Google Android 4.4 KitKat, a 6-inch Full HD (1080×1920) display (or perhaps even a WQHD display), LTE-Advanced connectivity and 3GB of RAM. It may also have a fingerprint scanner although none appears in evidence on today’s pictures. It could launch with model number LG-F350.
LG is likely to unveil the LG G Pro 2 at MWC 2014.
