UAProf file for Samsung SM-G900A (Galaxy S5?) confirms Full HD display

UAProf for Samsung SM-G900AIt’s clear that Samsung is planning to release a new series of devices under the SM-G900 model number. Widely expected to be the Samsung Galaxy S5, variants have been identified for carriers in North America as well as other regions of the world.

Among them is the SM-G900P_NA_SPR which is the version that Sprint is expected to carry. Its UAProf (User Agent Profile) file has already surfaced on Sprint’s own website, revealing details such as a Full HD (1080×1920) display, Android 4.4.2 KitKat and a 13MP camera. We’ve now found a UAProf file for the SM-G900A, expected to head to AT&T, on Samsung’s own website.

Unfortunately, this file contains far less information than the Sprint one. It does confirm one key detail though: Like the SM-G900P, the SM-G900A will come with a Full HD (1080×1920) display.

The SM-G900L will also have a FHD display based on information posted on the website of South Korean carrier LG Uplus (or LG U+).

At this point, it does appear that the various members of the Samsung SM-G900 family will all sport a FHD display. All we now need is definite proof that the SM-G900 line is indeed the Galaxy S5 that Samsung is set to unveil at its next Unpacked event on February 24.
