LG confirmed this week at CES 2014 that the LG G Flex will launch in the U.S. with three carriers, AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile USA. Unfortunately no specific availability and pricing details were given except to indicate that it would launch in early 2014. A source who wishes to remain anonymous has now told us that Sprint will launch the LG G Flex (LG-LS995) by the end of January.
According to an internal document we were provided, LG will begin shipments of the LG G Flex to Sprint on January 15, 2014. On average, it then takes Sprint about 7 to 10 days to set everything up for their launch, including shipping the new device to its retail stores. Based on this, we expect that LG will release the LG G Flex on January 22, 2014.
No word yet on whether AT&T and T-Mobile USA will launch the LG G Flex around the same time.
Stay tuned for more information.
Thanks, tipster!
