Sony Mobile Communications unveiled the Sony Xperia T3 back in early June. Billed as the world’s smaller 5.3-inch smartphone, the company announced today that it is coming to Canada in August.

As with other Xperia smartphones, the Sony Xperia T3 also comes with a number of Sony Xperia camera apps to enhance your pictures and share them. Among these are AR Effect which lets you add sound effects and animations to both photos and videos, even before you hit the shutter, Timeshift Burst which snaps 31 frames in two seconds to make sure you get the right shot and Portrait Retouch which allows you to style closeups.
The Sony Xperia T3 will be offered by Bell Mobility, Virgin Mobile and SaskTel. It will also be offered by a number of national retailers, including The Source. An unlocked version will also be available at Sony Stores. Pricing was not announced.
