Samsung resumed poking fun at Apple earlier this month with its “Wall Huggers” commercial by taking aim at the iPhone’s battery life. It has turned its attention to display size in a new ad. Appropriately called “Galaxy S 5 – Screen Envy, ” it touts the Galaxy S5’s 5.1-inch Full HD display and comparing it to the “small” 4-inch display on the iPhone 5S.
The Galaxy S 5’s 5.1″ HD display is the screen your friends wish they had — and now they’re lining up to watch over your shoulder.
The ad even manages to take a swipe at the upcoming iPhone 6 which is expected to come with a larger display. A man using an iPhone tells his friend that “iPhone might be getting a bigger screen,” to which his friend says, “That hasn’t happened yet?” To add insult to injury, the narrator reminds Apple fans that they have been waiting for something like that to happen “for like two years.”

With Samsung smartphone sales slowing, the South Korean company appears to be ratcheting up the attack ads in a bid to sway Apple customers over.
Samsung is expected to unveil its Galaxy Note 4 with a 5.7-inch display in early September with Apple to follow with both 4.7- and 5.5-inch iPhone models shortly after.
