Samsung today teased via Twitter that it will announce “something new and exciting” tomorrow (July 10). Given that the tweet came from the @SamsungExynos account, it’s more than likely that Samsung is about to unveil a new processor. As you would expect from the teaser, little information is in fact revealed. All we have to go on is the image above and the following:

So what processor could Samsung announce? It could well be the Exynos 5433. This unnanounced processor has popped up a few times in rumours associated with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4. The Samsung Exynos 5433 is expected to power the international version of the next Note phablet. The North American variant will instead come with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 805.
SamMobile expects that the Exynos 5433 is an octa-core processor offering four Cortex-A15 cores and four Cortex-A7 ones along with an updated Mali GPU. It will be paired to an Intel XMM7260 Cat. 6 LTE modem. It was reportedly codenamed HelsinkiPro during development.
It’s also possible that Samsung will unveil a different processor or something else entirely. Fortunately, we only have to wait one day to find out.
