Samsung has already introduced a number of new tablets this year. The Galaxy NotePRO and TabPRO series of tablets were unveiled at CES 2014 and it now appears that Samsung is readying additional models. According to both India’s Zauba shipment tracking database and the Bluetooth SIG website, one of those will be the SM-T330.
Little information is available but between the two websites, we can see that the SM-T330 will come with an 8-inch display and Bluetooth 4.0. With Samsung rumoured to be looking at AMOLED displays for both an 8-inch and a 10-inch tablet, the SM-T330 could well be the smaller of those.
The SM-T330 could well launch as the Galaxy Tab 4. Looking back, the Galaxy Tab 3 8.0 launched as the SM-T31x with a number of variants. It was followed by the just launched Galaxy TabPRO 8.4 which bears model numbers SM-T32x. It’s more than likely that the SM-T33x series is the next to be unveiled by Samsung.
Samsung may well unveil the Galaxy Tab 4 at MWC 2014 ahead of its expected mid-March Samsung Galaxy S5 announcement.
For now, it’s a lot of conjecture so we’ll have to see if additional leaks can help paint a clearer picture.
