Samsung will unveil its latest flagship device at its next Unpacked events, just days ahead of IFA 2014. The Galaxy Note 4 has been in more than one rumour over the past few weeks and months but glimpses of the device have proven far more elusive. With just over three weeks to go before Unpacked 2014 Episode 2, pictures of what the Galaxy Note 4 could look like have finally surfaced.
Reminiscent of the Galaxy Note 3, the Galaxy Note 4 appears to incorporate a metal frame but will retain the faux-leather back. It’s not certain though that the chamfered sides are indeed metal. Plastic inlays could suggest that we are looking instead at plastic with a faux-metal finish.
The back appears to sport a heart rate monitor next to the camera. The bottom sports a USB 3.0 port along with a speaker grille and the stylus slot.
The images give us no sense of the display size but past rumours have hinted at a 5.7-inch one, the same as on the Galaxy Note 3, but sporting a WQHD (2560×1440) resolution.
Images of the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 have also surfaced. The device shown is very similar to the one revealed by the pictures. It also appears to confirm that Samsung will indeed go with the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 name.
