Samsung is widely rumoured to be readying a new line of smartphones known as the Galaxy A-Series. It is expected to consist of three devices initially, the A3, A5 and A7. The first two have been the better known ones so far but that changed today with the Samsung Galaxy A7 showing up on the GFXBench website with specifications in tow.
While the Samsung Galaxy A7 will not displace Samsung’s flagship Galaxy S5 and Galaxy Note 4 at the top of heap, it promises to be an impressive mid-range device.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 is a 64-bit chipset that sports an integrated LTE modem, offering LTE “across all major bands and modes worldwide” as well as HSPA+ (up to 42Mbps), CDMA, and TD-SCDMA connectivity.
Earlier rumours gave the Samsung Galaxy A7 a 5.5-inch display but it now appears that it will go with a slightly smaller 5.2-inch one instead.
