Fresh off its Android 4.4.2 KitKat update for the HTC One (on schedule despite reports of delays), Rogers Wireless is now gearing up for a few more operating system updates. According to its latest OS Upgrades schedule, updated today, four more devices are set for updates in the near future.
On the Android side, plans are afoot to roll out Android 4.4 KitKat updates for the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Note 3. Two Windows Phone devices, the Samsung ATIV S and Nokia Lumia 920, are also set to receive the Windows Phone 8 GDR3 update. All four updates are listed as “Coming Soon.” While this is not a very specific time frame, the last time Rogers used it, the Moto X got its update about a week after the imprecise ETA first went up. We’ll have to see if it is as quick with these particular updates.
The Android 4.4 KitKat update for the HTC One Mini remains set for “Late February 2014.”
As usual, Rogers warns that “release dates are subject to change.”
