Roam Mobility’s customers will soon be able to use LTE when travelling to the U.S. The company, which offers voice, talk and text roaming plans to Canadians travelling south of the border, today announced the launch of LTE coverage in the U.S. It goes live on July 7.
“Our 4G LTE Network doesn’t just bring faster data speeds,” says Emir Aboulhosn, CEO of Roam Mobility. “It’s the first of many new services we’ll be announcing in the coming weeks that we expect to have a big impact on Canadian roaming services.”
Roam Mobility’s LTE network will cover “the most popular destinations in the USA and across the nation,” including New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, Dallas, Seattle, Atlanta, Miami, and many others.
Roam Mobility plans currently start at CA$3.95 per day for a Talk+Text+Data plan. It also offers other plans including a Snowbird Plan for CA$39.95 per month. The company has also promised to make further announcements in the coming weeks “around new plans and features.”
