The premium Samsung Galaxy F (also known sometimes as the Galaxy S5 Prime) has been a popular rumour topic recently. Images of the device have surfaced several times already and the usually reliable @evleaks is now back with another image, this time showing it in “crystal clear.”
The latest image once again suggests that the Samsung Galaxy F will sport a brushed metal finish instead of the Samsung Galaxy S5’s dimpled plastic one.
The render confirms that the heart beat sensor introduced with the Galaxy S5 will be back but otherwise reveals no new information. Past rumours have suggested that it will come with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, 3GB of RAM, 32GB of internal storage and a 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization. Despite being slightly smaller than the Galaxy S5 thanks in part to narrower bezels it could come with a larger 5.3-inch WQHD (2560×1440) display. Based on a previous image, it will also be available in a gold colour as well.
Most rumours currently suggest that the Samsung Galaxy F will be introduced alongside the Galaxy Note 4 at IFA 2014 in early September. If so, we can expect a few more rumours between now and then.

Although, to be fair, the Samsung ATIV S did “look” like brushed aluminum.
Looks like Samsung is borrowing from the HTC M8. Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery 🙂
