As expected, LG’s trio of new G Pad tablets made an appearance at Monaco’s MedPi event. FrAndroid made it down to the event to see the new 7.0-, 8.0- and 10.1-inch tablets and took a few notes and pictures.
As the photos show, LG has done away with the metal body of the LG G Pad 8.3 in favour of a new soft-finish plastic. They also confirm two speakers on the back, a rear-facing camera without flash and both a microSD slot and 3.5mm audio jack. It all suggests that LG is striving to hit a lower price point with this new generation of tablets.
While LG is keeping full specifications under wraps for now, we’ve already seen details about the 7-inch model, the LG-V400, courtesy of the AnTuTu benchmarks website.
