Samsung has begun to tease us about its expected announcement for the Samsung Galaxy S5. It’s next Unpacked event is called Unpacked5, a possible reference to the Galaxy S5 although it could also be a reference to five new devices (Galaxy S5, Galaxy Tab 4 (7.0), Galaxy Tab 4 (8.0), Galaxy Tab 4 (10.1) and Galaxy Gear 2). Now O2 Germany is getting in on the party with the launch of its own teaser page for Samsung’s next flagship smartphone. Customers can now sign up to find out more about this Samsung device “that can do more.”
Needless to say, O2 Germany reveals little about this mysterious device. While the teaser does not even mention it by name, the URL itself (http://www.o2online.de/handy/samsung-galaxy-s5/) makes it quite clear that we’re talking about the Samsung Galaxy S5.
No other details are provided. O2 only says that more will be revealed at the end of the month. It does not mention the Samsung Unpacked event by name though.
As for the image itself, could it be a hint that the Samsung Galaxy S5 will be waterproof? It is a growing trend among smartphone manufacturers and we all know how much Samsung loves to follow trends.
