Microsoft Devices Group confirmed last month that its new Lumia 830 would be coming to Canada. Announced at IFA 2014 as an “affordable flagship” smartphone that brings the PureView mobile camera technology to a more affordable price point, it made its Canadian debut yesterday as Canada’s first Windows Phone to come with the Lumia Denim update.
“At just 8.5mm thin, it’s our thinnest and lightest Lumia to date, with metal and polycarbonate that screams premium design, durability and performance,” said Matt Rothschild, head of North America sales, Nokia Products Ltd, a subsidiary of Microsoft Mobile Oy. “The Lumia 830 combines popular Microsoft services with amazing Lumia innovations in design and imaging to bring experiences that people value, at prices they can afford.”
