A rumour last week suggested that Nokia was readying a smaller version of the Nokia Lumia 1520. Another image of the alleged smartphone has now surfaced one Chinese social network Weibo. The new image of the device known alternatively as the Lumia 1520 mini or Lumia 1520v shows it next to what appears to be an Apple iPhone.
The Nokia Lumia 1520v does not appear to be much larger than the Apple iPhone. The image also shows that it sports the three-column layout introduced with Windows Phone 8 GDR3.
As for specifications, it will reportedly come with a 4.45-inch HD (1280×768) display rather than the initially rumoured 4.3-inch Full HD one. It will also have a 2,370mAh battery. There is no further word on whether other specifications will be the same as those of its larger sibling, the Nokia Lumia 1520.
One last interesting detail: The V apparently stands for ‘Viisi.’ That word in Finnish means five.
An April launch currently appears to be in the cards for the Nokia Lumia 1520 Mini.
