We’re about three days from HTC unveiling its next flagship smartphone. While leaks and rumours have effectively revealed most if not all that there is to know about the All New HTC One, one last missing piece of the puzzle is the pricing. One rumour has already suggested that TELUS will offer it for CA$229 with a two-year contract. Now comes word that it will sell for about US$600 outright when it launches in the U.S, about the same as the current HTC One sells for.
(The all new) HTC One (M8) will retail for $600 off-contract (same as the current One). Meanwhile, the gold color is a Best Buy-only SKU.

Pricing is supported by an AT&T contest in which it is giving away five All New HTC One smartphones in the leadup to the March 25 event. Conditions of the contest list the value of the “HTC next generation Android device” at approximately US$639.99.
@evleaks has also indicated that the gold colour will be a Best Buy exclusive. If true, we’ll have to see if this exclusive extends up to Canada.
It is also looking increasingly likely that HTC will pull off the impressive feat of getting the All New HTC One to market the day of the launch in the U.S. Verizon promotion materials suggest that sales could start at 1300 EST on March 25.
It also appears that HTC will launch its second generation HTC One as the HTC One (M8) rather than the unwieldy All New HTC One.
HTC will unveil its new HTC One on March 25 at simultaneous events in New York and London. It will also livestream the event for those not able to attend in person.
