We thought we had all gotten a good glimpse at the upcoming HTC M8 yesterday before none other than HTC’s Mark Moons called the leaked image a fake. Fortunately for us, two more images have now surfaced courtesy of Russia’s Mobiltelefon (via Yandex). This time around we get a glimpse of the front of the device. They do appear to confirm that HTC has opted to go with onscreen buttons and an strong resemblance to the HTC One.
The report also reconfirms a number of details about the HTC M8. Among these are a 5-inch Full HD (1080×1920) display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor, Google Android 4.4.2 KitKat (with HTC Sense 5 oddly?), 2GB of RAM and the BoomSound dual front-facing speakers and dedicated amplifier introduced with the HTC One.
The report also suggests that the rear camera will get a good upgrade. Whereas the HTC One had a single-sensor 4MP camera, the HTC M8 will reportedly sport a dual-sensor 5MP UltraPixel camera on the back.
So far, there is no word from Mark Moons on whether these images are fakes as well.
An announcement in March is also suggested by the report.
