Last year, Motorola followed up its successful Moto G with a second model that added LTE connectivity. It now looks like it will do so again this year with the new Moto G (2014) (pictured above). The updated smartphone made a brief appearance on Motorola Brazil’s website.
As far as specifications go, it appears that the new LTE Moto G will be nearly identical to the current Moto G (2014). The only changes appear to be the support for LTE and a larger 2,390mAh battery. It remains to be seen if it will come with 8GB or 16GB of onboard storage (or if both options will be available). Other specifications, such as the 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor, 5-inch HD (1280×720) and 1GB of RAM, remain unchanged.
There is no word yet on where and when the Moto G (2014) with 4G LTE will launch. It’s almost certain that it will be available in Brazil but it remains to be seen if other markets will also see it. The original LTE Moto G made it to Canada so it is possible that we will also see this latest variant make its way here.
