The Nokia Lumia 625 may have been the first Canadian Nokia device to get updated to Windows Phone 8.1 thanks to the Lumia Cyan update but it is no longer the only one. Nokia Canada yesterday announced that the update is now also rolling out to the Nokia Lumia 1020.
On the Windows Phone 8.1 front, the update brings new features like Action Center notification area, an improved keyboard and Internet Explorer 11 as well as S/MIME and VPN support for enterprise customers. Cortana is also available but requires that language settings be set to English (US) for now (but a Canadian localization is coming).
Nokia has also thrown in improvements to the Nokia Camera, Creative Studio and Storyteller app.
If the update notification has not hit your phone yet, you can check via Settings > Phone update > Check for updates.
Canada now has three devices running Windows Phone 8.1: The Nokia Lumia 625, Lumia 1020 and the just arrived Lumia 635.
