Among the new features Nokia announced as part of its Lumia Black update is the App Folder which lets you group apps into a single folder, a tile, on your Start screen. With the update already hitting Lumia 1020 and Lumia 925 devices across the world, many are now reporting that they cannot find the feature after updating their devices. It turns out that Lumia Black enables the feature but that it also requires a separate app to become fully functional.
Fortunately, the app, appropriately called App Folder, is now available through the Windows Store.
Tidy up your Start screen and make things easier to find with App Folder. You can gather similar apps together or keep your most used settings in one place – it’s up to you. Simply create and name a folder, add the apps and settings you want, and then pin it to your Start screen. You can create as many app folders as you need and edit them as you go.
App Folder helps you sort your Start screen your way.
Drop us a note and let us know how App Folder works for you once you have it installed!

The only downside to this app is that you can’t use the native apps, only installed apps from the store. I would love to add office, OneNote, calendar etc… Hope it evolves.
