Much as we saw with the LG G2, LG is expected to unveil a smaller variant known as the LG G3 mini. It now appears that there may be another variant coming, this one sporting a stylus. A leaked document obtained by MyLGPhones reveals a new device called the LG G3 Stylus and bearing model number LG-D693N.
Little is known about the LG LG3 Stylus (assuming it even launches under this name) at this point as even the UAProf file promised by the screenshot is unavailable. MyLGPhones surmises that it could slot in between the LG G3 mini and LG G3 in terms of specifications perhaps as a follow up to the LG G Pro 2 Lite (LG-D680). It could also be the LG Vu 4 tablet, the successor to the stylus-enabled LG Vu 3, which LG has already confirmed. Or could LG give the next LG G Flex device (also confirmed to be launching later this year) a stylus?
Zauba, India’s import tracking database, shows that a very similar device, the LG-D690, was sent to India back in May. The entry revealed nothing more about the device though.
