Another upcoming LG device has been revealed by its UAProf file. Found on LG’s own website, the file reveals little about the LG-D725 but the few details there are point to more of a mid-range device than the LG-LS990 (LG G3?) that surfaced on Sprint’s website earlier today.
At this point, we can tell that the LG-D725 will come with an HD (720×1280) display and LTE/HSPA/EDGE/GPRS connectivity. MyLGPhones adds that it will come with Android 4.4.2 and that’s it’s headed to AT&T. The latter is not in the UAProf file but apparently can be found in a separate LG database.
There is no word on when AT&T could launch the LG-D725 or under what name. A launch may still be some time away though as the device does not appear to have FCC or Bluetooth certifications at this point.
It’s worth remembering that LG has been known to change UAProf files from time to time on unannounced devices. We recently saw that with the LG-D855 which saw its resolution drop from WQHD to FHD.
