The Moto 360’s reign as the sole round Android Wear smartwatch on the market is about to come to an end. LG has announced that it will launch its LG G Watch R in South Korea on October 14. First unveiled at IFA 2014, it sports a a stainless steel frame and a 1.3-inch (320×320) P-OLED display. Missing from LG’s announcement was its plans to roll out the LG G Watch R beyond South Korea. When it first announced it, it said that it would land in “key markets” in Q4. Whether Canada is one of those remains to be seen. For that matter, the Moto 360 is not yet available in Canada but is expected shortly, possibly on October 31.
