After revealing that it will unveil the LG G Pro 2 as the successor to the LG Optimus G Pro at MWC 2014, LG today revealed a few details about this new smartphone.
It announced that it will sport a 13MP camera with improved optical image stabilization. The feature, called “OIS Plus,” promises to improve shots taken while the smartphone is trembling or in low-light conditions with a combination of hardware and software enhancements. LG’s new camera will also support 4K UHD (3840×2160) video capture.
The LG G Pro 2 will also sport a 2.1MP front-facing camera. Again, LG promises that performance has been improved over that of its predecessor.
Other camera features coming are a slow motion HD video recording mode and burst shots that combine up to 20 shots into a single one.
LG did not reveal other details about the LG G Pro 2 but pictures and specifications have been leaked over the past few weeks.
