LG announced three new LG G Pad tablets last month but failed to provide much information beyond telling us that they would sport similar specifications and come in three sizes. Since then, details about the LG G Pad 7.0 (LG-V400) have surfaced, giving us a good idea of what to expect for the other two models. Now an image of what appears to be the LG G Pad 10.1 (model LG-V700) specifications has surfaced as well. It reveals the following:
- Processor: 1.2GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400
- Operating system: Google Android 4.4.2 KitKat
- Display: 10.1-inch HD IPS
- Internal storage: 16GB
- External storage: MicroSD cards up to 32GB
- Rear-facing camera: 5MP
- Front-facing camera: 1.3MP
- Battery: 8,000mAh
- Dimensions: 260.9 × 165.9 × 8.95 millimeters
If these specifications are accurate, the LG G Pad 10.1 will benefit from more internal memory, a better rear camera and a more sizeable battery than its smaller 7-inch sibling.
On the software side, the LG G Pad 10.1 (and presumably its two smaller siblings) will come with the updated LG QPair 2.0 to pair the tablet to their smartphone, the new Smart Keyboard unveiled with the LG G3, Dual Window and Knock Code.
Unfortunately, there are no images of the tablet itself to go with this picture of a sign.
For its part, LG has yet to provide additional details, including availability and pricing, on its new LG G Pad tablets.
